WynSpeak Preliminary round 27th April, 2023
The Rotary Club of Bacchus Marsh would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the above public speaking competition hosted by Bacchus Marsh Grammar. This round was a success not only because of the talent of the competing students, but because of the highly professional organising by the Grammar under the expert guidance of the Rotary WynSpeak team.
The finals are to be held at the Thomas Carr College on the 2nd of June at 6:30
The winner of the Junior Prepared Speech was Ishnoor Dhillon from Bacchus Marsh Grammar - Maddingley Campus who spoke about how the number 13 isn’t unlucky.
The winner of the Senior Prepared speech was Ian Hassan-Llusala who explained his struggles with being a Jack of all trades but a master of none.
The winner of the Junior Short Notice Competition was Michael Apps from Heathdale Christian College - Melton Campus talking about lollies versus chocolate.
The winner of the Senior Short Competition was Roshyna Attwal from Bacchus Marsh Grammar - Maddingley Campus who spoke about if cats are better than dogs.
