Habitat Restoration
We were approached by Moorabool Shire Council (MSC) to construct bird nesting boxes to be appropriately allocated to areas adversely affected by recent severe weather events.
Rotarians promptly joined in to build and paint 100 boxes for distribution by MSC, who in turn contributed funds to Rotary Club of Bacchus Marsh.
The nesting boxes, along with native plant species, will be giving out to Moorabool residents as part of the Habitat Restoration Project.
The timber used in construction was felled timber retrieved from storm damaged local forests.
